So wow. I just now remembered back around October, *
markerguru had tagged me on this 8-fact thingy... wow. I forgot ALL ABOUT IT amidst the work...
These are the rules..
1. Post these rules
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random facts about themselves
3. Tags should write a journal/ blog of these facts
4. At the end of the post 8 more persons are tagged and named
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them they're tagged
((note: I won't be tagging anyone))
Now, I've done this before, so I'll try to keep these somewhat new?
1. I like going to places in the early morning times- this includes when the sun is rising. For some reason, everything is so much more beautiful around these times... not so much when the sun sets or during the daytime hours.
2. I love Coke with coconut syrup. ((Sonic's blue-coconut add-in ftw)); also, I'm a Coke-over-Pepsi person. But I'll drink either.
3. I. LOVE. THE OFFICE. But only the American version. I tried watching several episodes of the original UK version, and I don't... I dunno. It's just not FUNNY. Dwight's UK counterpart looks creepy, and everything else is just kinda dry. AND DON'T USE THAT "It's British comedy, it's more sophisticated!" with me. I've seen and enjoyed other comedies from the United Kingdom; the Office is JUST NOT ONE OF THEM.
4. Don't talk to me about babies or pets. I don't want to hear about them unless I'm in the presence of them... and even then, I don't want to hear about your baby(or see pictures of him/her/it).
5. Even though people here know this, it AMAZES ME that people DO NOT KNOW THAT I DRAW. I'm not UBER FAMOUS as a colorist, but it's irksome that people think ALL I DO IS COLOR. I draw too. Yes, I do. Not that well, but I certainly do.
6. I hate Reggaeton. It's the only (sub?)genre of music that I wish NEVER EXISTED AT ALL.
7. 7-11 nachos ruin my digestive system... and yet it does NOT stop me from purchasing them...
8. I would REALLY LOVE to see a Robot Carnival 2.
And that's it. : |

Thanks to ~
RobotMaster3 for making a Dyemooch stamp! XD!
I really like your style of drawing. It's very unique
Before Adult Swim, before SciFi Saturday 'Anime'- before all this mainstream broadcasting of imported Japanese cartoons... I still remember when Cartoon Network played the first Vampire Hunter D, Robot Carnival, and Twilight of the Cockroaches... aaah.. I miss those days.
I dunno. I love animation in general, but I feel like we don't see the kinds of things that we saw back in the twilight of "anime's" appearance in the U.S. It's not just a "we won't import the good things", because we do... but on both the Eastern AND Western fronts, you don't see this kind of "experimentation" with animation anymore. Disney's Fantasia 2000 was just incredibly PALE compared to the original; and Robot Carnival is one of the only animated features that does what it does. I feel like there are too many movies-based-on-series, and not enough stand-alones.
Blah blah blah blah. I'm just an oldie when it comes to Japanese animation, I guess. XD!!!
BUT I loved Robot Carnival, and I would LOVE to see another one.
The first Japanese anything I ever saw (without counting Unico and a handful of others), Demon City Shinjuku, Robot Carnival, and Akira. I felt so sneaky, watching them late at night . . . XD
MAN, I miss those days... I feel like there aren't anymore "captivating" titles... I just can't get into these new titles... they just lack SOMETHING. And then the ones that SHOULD be awesome, are BORING. XD
I missed the 80's/90's... bunch of pink, blue, and green hair... robots... spazzy-movements/effects... LOVED IT,
And Project A-Ko is WIN. I had to get the boxed set XD.
aah... traditional animation... without all the CRAZY, STAND-OUT-ISH CGI ELEMENTS... hehe... elephants..
