The book came out Wednesday, and I got the okay to post the first five pages : )
Transformers Alliance is a sort of sequel that's also interwoven into the first Transformers movie from last year and the Reign of Starscream comic; it's also a prequel to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It's brilliantly written by Chris Mowry, who does a FANTASTIC job at working with the movie universe. This guy's brilliant. Alex does an amazing job with the art- and some hobo with Photoshop colored it.

I love panel 2. I like to think that panels 4 and 5 go with karaoke. Salazar(have I been spelling that right? I have the RoS paperback RIGHT HERE next to me, I'm just INCREDIBLY LAZY to double check) sings a verse- and then Wreckage sings the chorus!
"BREAK THOSE, CHAINS THAT BIND YOUUUUU!"

That's it! Alliance 1 is only the beginning of something CRAZY, people. I really urge you guys to go pick this up and shower Mowry and Milne with praise. Mowry's writing only gets better with every issue and every project that goes by and Alex Milne really stepped his game up on this book. I... I colored it. That's all I did.
Also, please check out the other previews that :icontransformers-mosaic: has been showing. They show a few panels beyond these five panels that will hype you guys up a little more over this issue. :)

Man. I said it all over the time, but it never takes the real feeling that I get, when I see your works, guys. This is totally freaking awesome!! The coloring takes me over a bit. It's so freaking awesome O.O

Though I respect your humility, you give yourself too little credit. Gotta agree with optimus, though. The line art does seem abit off, namely in the fourth panel.

The people look a little off. Artwork reminds me too much of the DW era. IDW is hit or miss with artists nowadays. I miss Don and James' work.

Personally, I think IDW has fantastic TF artists(not biased because I work with them- I liked the artists before I was a part of the crew).
