Here we see the twins in non-earth mode!
Here's the thing. In Revenge of the Fallen, they first show up being pink and white and combine into the ice cream truck- but then they're Lime Green and Orange-ish color. People forget that they fought over the colors- so, and this might be reading into it a lot, but Skids was probably ALWAYS green, and Mudflap always that orange color.
I mean, they bicker a lot, so maybe them arguing over "who the green one" could be was simply because they fight a lot; but who is to say that there probably wasn't something more established there?
Skids laid a beat down on Mudflap for Green because he's always BEEN green. That's just made more sense.
So why were they a pink ice cream truck? My assumption is that maybe after the events of this book(which are awesome and I will not spoil), they were probably impressed with Arcee and what she did for them and decided to try pink on for a bit; like how a child who is so impressed with a character like Wolverine might keep saying "Bub" or suddenly grow crazy amounts of facial and body hair. That stuff can happen. MAGIC.

I've never been more excited to read a TOTF comic. Explanations behind Arcee's hivemind? Gotta read it!

From the Twins being in here, I'm guessing they were experimented on for combiner technology. But I guess I'll have to read it.

That's something I like about what Alex does- the characters are still accurate, but there are tweaks here-and-there to give them more personality and character
