TotF 6 Page 2 by dyemooch TotF 6 Page 2 by dyemooch
Page 2!
Please check out Alex's line art version of this- it's REALLY incredible:[link]

I really wanted this place to feel grimy and dirty- but it ended up being too gray and muddy, so I was advised to change everything to look more white... a change that's barely noticeable unless you see the original pages(which I'll be posting somewhere else- I'll link when I do that).
I can't say enough how incredible I feel this book is. Of all the TotF books, I think this one makes you feel so much for every character going on. No one's a "cookie cutter" in this book- everyone has a reason for doing what they do.
Even if you're not a Transformers fan(or movieverse one)- or if the current Tales of the Fallen books have let you down, I strongly suggest you still pick this one up.
I feel that Alex and Chris stepped their game up a lot with this book- I tried to match, but these two guys are too bright for me to shine with XD!
Every time I see this image, I keep hearing this really high-pitched noise (like that of the that the Ghostbuster's proton packs make when they charge) and muffled radio static.

Pulled this issue out just last night for a reread. Honestly one of my favorite--the three of you did an amazing job and I'm always blown away by the awesome combination of phenomenal writing, jaw-dropping art, and beautiful coloring.

When do I get to see the grunge page? Something tells me I'd like it more than the current, as every suggestion the headmasters have given you I, for the most part, disagreed with XD

The white adds a bit more eeriness and "wrongness" to the situation, so I think it's fitting. Crazy medic he might be but having a clean environment is sometimes necessary for experiments and procedures - don't want no random variable messing/contaminating results up!

clean is fine, but i wanted the room to be dark for a more eerie mood. thats why there are lights in the floor and not the ceiling.
still, josh did a great job with the colors, so i'm happy we got to work together on this :)

I do like the whitish background. It really makes the face stand out. Maybe you should use that more often :)

Thanks sweety :)I am pretty happy with how the characters stand out- but while I do like how the characters stand out, I still prefer how dirty and grungy it looked originally. A crazy Decepticon medic wouldn't have a clean laboratory. Too bad I made it look too muddy originally! Maybe some other time!
