Also, depends on how you personally define "lazy" - if you decided not to colour someone's face when it encompassed a panel, that's a problem.
Personally, I like that this art hasn't been "gimmicky." I don't know how else to put it. I don't like 3D movies either. But I've seen fans totally fawn over artists that make smoke have lens flare for some reason and "great hi-lights" that aren't touched by that damage half an inch away straight line from it and... that does nothing for me.
