Asked the mighty powers that be if it was okay to put this up, and got the green light.

I LOVE THIS COVER; I keep hearing Bohemian Rhapsody to it... I actually listened to Queen a lot while coloring this book. Well, Queen and Disney music from UAB radio... XD
Coloring a fight scene to the music of Mainstreet USA? AWESOME.

With no offense to IDW's other Transformers artists, this book BLEW ME AWAY with it's surrealistic take on Cybertron and an EVEN MORE alien aesthetic to these movie characters. I hope I didn't mess it up for you guys! Mowry's story and Don's art are an amazing combination in this book.

I hear you on the art for this issue. The last two issues were rather disappointing in terms of the art (coloring was beautiful). Whoever drew issues 1 and 2 just didn't understand the aesthetic of the movieverse bots. He tried giving them fleshy mouths and they just ended up looking awkward, especially Prowl in issue 2. This is MUCH better, and I can't WAIT to get this book on Wednesday.

Is Don on board for the rest of the Defiance series, or just issue 3?

I kinda agree with what you said here.
Whilst the art for the last two issues was by no means bad (much of it was well done), it didn't match the feel of the movie bots as well.
Especially Prime's face, I mean here he looks alot more like he did in the movie.
