Oh well. Apparently I accidentally saved the flatted version over the layered version...so! Looks like I can't fix anything without starting over x_x.
ANYWHO. For ravenshield for being awesome enough to pull me out of a bad mood and/or depression almost all the time. Remarkable, galla : D.
So this is how I thank you, Raven- by fucking up one of your favorite game characters >D.
I was given GREAT reference images from Raven, but instead, I made this hybrid of Master Chief(from Halo- for those who are like me and know NOTHNG of Halo) using the references she sent and images from a toy.
x_X The coloring lacks...and YES, the smoke is there to hide a flat left arm. A lot of stuff wrong with this...anywho.
Thanks a bunch, Raven. Even if this picture doesn't look like the best(or most accurate) version of M'C', I hope this works out as some form of a thank you. ^_^.

While it's not the best depiction of Master Chief I've ever seen, I have to give you major kudos. I love the way you give us just a flash of his face as opposed to the full on reveal. The mystery behind Master Chief's identity was one of the major things that I believe drew fans to the game in the first place. I could see the gaming developers doing something simular to what you've just drawn, teasing people rather than giving it to them all. I love it!

Thanks! This was one of those things I should have worked at at a higher resolution because I didn't anti-alias my selections, making them a little hard on the eyes colorwise D:

Photoshop; I used Painter back in '03-ish, but Photoshop became my main weapon because I got used to it. :)

Mostly Photoshop- But I use an online program too- called tegaki. And I love traditional media as well. =D
