I love Figment, and I love Epic Mickey.

I wanted to do a piece to vent a little about how I feel with some of the "kids these days" (not all of them) and how it feels that quality, creative ideas slowly get drowned out by common and boring ones.
One of the reasons I really miss working at Walt Disney World is getting the chance to be at WDW any time I wanted. I love how music plays throughout the park like a soundtrack that fades into each world you enter. I miss seeing people interacting with characters they grew up with.
I dunno.
ANYWAY.
So Dreamfinder is no longer with Figment at EPCOT; it's now Professor(Doctor?) Nigel Channing(sp?) and Figment was a "scientific discovery" instead of the "imaginary creation" that Dreamfinder created.
I like to believe that Figment still existed after Dreamfinder left- a result of being phased out and forgotten over the Figment ride's changes over the years. In some EPCOT-like park Oswalt created in his world, the Dreamfinder wanders around, using his imagination and memories of yesteryear to fill the park with the memories and creations he remembered from EPCOT when he was a part of it. Figment, still having a part in EPCOT's current ride probably ran into Oswalt somehow and longed for a reunion with the Dreamfinder- to pick up where they left off and travel the universe collecting things that inspire imagination...
Problem is that Dreamfinder just doesn't really feel that the world wants him anymore and is content to hang around in the EPCOT that still is fond of him.
"The world just doesn't want imagination anymore..."
Perhaps he feels that kids just don't want to explore and create anymore- that they're all wanting to grow up too fast; that everyone is letting the darkness of life cast a larger shadow over the world and have forgotten what it's like to enjoy life rather than despise all of its problems.
For whatever reason, it's up to Oswalt and Figment to convince the Dreamfinder that he is still loved and important to everyone.
I imagine they would succeed at it; that even if the Dreamfinder is looking at the world through a half-empty glass, that it doesn't take but a few drops to make the glass more full.
BLAH BLAH BLAH.
I dunno.
I get that life sucks- but try and enjoy it. For rizzles. No matter your struggle, there's always going to be friends willing to root you on and help you out.

BUT ALSO I JUST WANTED TO DRAW A FAKE EPIC-MICKEY-ESQUE SCENE WHERE OSWALT AND FIGMENT RUN INTO A SAD DREAMFINDER AND THEN LATER THEY CAN CHEER HIM UP AND HE AND FIGMENT ARE FRIENDS AGAIN BECAUSE THEY WERE ALWAYS FRIENDS. I DUNNO.
