An oekaki of Tetsuo I did over at a oekaki board that's full of more talent than I care to have intruded upon! GAWD! All those people kick ass...OLD SCHOOL STYLE! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Anywho.
But my picture...first off, I hate those two texts sayin "Tetsuo", I guess I forgot to undo the top one when I put the bottom one in.
Some things didn't work out; not much contrast, but I guess I wanted to keep this picture a little plain.
That arm could have been better.
Don't sell yourself short, the arm look perfect! Love the electricity, and the use of lineart to shade it great. I always did like robot arm Tetsuo more than crazy gross flesh arm.
YES old school anime! gosh i have never watched akira. robot anime always kind of scare me. i guess i should now but i prefer the sports anime from the 80s.
Akira fan-art is somewhat of a rarity. But seeing as you've executed this so well, I really like it.
I see what you're talking about with the text and arm, but really, this is awesome.
I just really like that you've managed to keep the Tetsuo character shape, but still done it in your own style! Definitely not enough Akira fanart, and Tetsuo is AWESOME.
