First off, the text at the top: "Useless text that is translated from an online translation site!!! Now if only this text was not so garbled, you might actually be able to read it or at least understand it! This text pretty much only exists to make this image feel more like an old Godzilla poster, but since the text is scrolling from left-to-right and not right-to-left, up and down like regular Japanese text, this will instantly be noted by native speakers and called out for the fraudulent translation it is! My apologies! ENJOY THE GODZILLA PRINT! " I wasn't looking for accurate, but something to make this feel more like a promotional poster, you know? So I went to Google Translate. The Japanese is most likely butchered/wrong, but that's pretty much okay with what I wanted
ANYWHO! This is a Godzilla Print for a signing I'll be attending with ~KaijuSamurai(Matt Frank) at Austin Books & Comics. I'll have this print available for sale, as well as 10 copies of my Scott Pilgrim one, just because I've had a few people interested in it. I don't think it'll go that well, but the extra copies can go to people who have been asking about those! BACK ON TOPIC. So tomorrow(March 30th), Matt and I will be signing at Austin Books & Comics from 2-7pm, I believe, to promote their stores Retailer Exclusive covers of Godzilla smashing their store that Matt drew and I colored : ) GO BUY A COPY OF THAT COVER! D:! Info: [link]
Stop by and say hi- especially to Matt! He must have a robotic hand to have pumped out as many covers as he did!
Anywho. That's pretty much it, I guess? SUPER DEFORMED GODZILLA WEEEEEE! Had fun making the Austin Capitol building! SKRRREEEOOONGGGK!
I am so happy I was able to make it to the event and I had safely put my copy on a place that won't get damage. I consider it a piece of Texas History because ..well the capitol is right there Duh ! (dethroning the previous awesome pic of the capitol attacked by a tornado) I hope to keep it to show the awesomeness of it to my grandchildren.
lol; TECHNICALLY they were there to see Matt; Matt was advertised as being there more than I was(he was also interviewed prior to the event); I was just "the other guy" there
It was a blast!
